The District is chartered by the American Motorcyclist Association consisting of approximately 30 amA. chartered motorcycle clubs throughout the state of New Jersey. The clubs meet monthly to discuss news and events in the motorcycle community.

We are also an AMA chartered club. In September of 2008, Harley-Davidson of Edison was sold and became Highroads Harley-Davidson. In January of 2009, in recognition of the change in ownership, the Chapter name was changed to Highroads Chapter Central Jersey. The Chapter enjoyed great success in the following years until, due to a nationwide recession, Highroads Harley-Davidson closed its doors in April of 2011. Unified Harley Riders is an AMA club.
